Why Do Private Yoga Classes?

Private yoga classes are the ideal way to personalize and customize your yoga practice.  There are instances where investing in one-on-one sessions would offer you the most bang for your buck.

  • Are you a beginner who would like to learn the basics and gain confidence in attending a group class? Private sessions will offer an understanding of the purpose and alignment of each pose.
  • Are you concerned about a condition or existing injury? Private yoga will be a great way to learn  how to modify poses matching a yoga routine to your capacity and goals.
  • Do you want to feel more relaxed and be able to handle the storms when life gets crazy?  Private yoga will offer you tools, like specific poses and yogic breathing, to bring balance back into your life.
  • Do you find that yoga or other self-care practices are hard to fit into your busy schedule?  Private yoga offers you classes at the time that fits your life.

How we work together:

  • I see clients in their home or a rented yoga studio space.
  • Sessions are 60 minutes and usually scheduled at a standing time each week.
  • I tailor classes to individual goals and needs.
  • My expertise is gentle and beginner yoga classes.  Please feel free to discuss any concerns you may have regarding starting something new.
  • I also work with individuals with special conditions like MS, COPD, cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, sports and age-related injuries incorporating some of the therapeutic elements yoga offers.
